I got a 10% off coupon for Home Depot so I purchased a 6 pack of 60-Watt equivalent CREE LED Edison type bulbs. With my coupon I paid about $8.5 per bulb. I really like these bulbs; the ones I got have a color temperature of 2700 and provide a nice warm light. The other benefit is that since they burn only 9-watts they actually help keep my home COOL – they are cool to the touch when turned on; which was not the case for CFLs. With a 10-year manufacturer warranty and a 22.8 year expected life, these Cree LED bulbs are a wise choice.
